Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer as well as an animal rights activist. Her movies comprise Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). Born and raised in an artistic family in New York she wished to pursue a career in the field of arts. She began as a photo assistant and then moved on to acting and modeling. The award she received was an award called the Golden Globe Award, for the most promising young talent. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was one of the biggest hits that gained fame to the world, as well as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. After just three short films, MacGraw was declared the most successful female in box office history. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name with handprints, foot prints and handprints in 1972. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television show The Winds of War. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw has married thrice.
