Zoe-perry
Perry was the daughter of Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). Her first television roles were two appearances on the show as Jackie Harris (as seen in flashback) on The ABC sitcom Roseanne which was played by her mom. Her parents, however, did not allow her to act until she was an adult due to the effects stress would be able to have on their daughter. Perry shy and shy for acting in high school, started to act in theater classes at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. Perry following her graduation from Boston University moved into New York in search of TV roles. Perry was able to land small roles on TV shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Then, homelessness drove her to California in search of theater jobs. In 2013, she appeared in The Other Place on Broadway alongside her mother. In 2015 she performed alongside her father and Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning film Anna Christie at the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. In the year 2016, Perry appeared on nine episodes on ABC's drama The Family. In 2017, she played a recurring role on the ABC drama about politics Scandal which starred her father. That same year she appeared as a younger model of Mary Cooper on Young Sheldon (a CBS spinoff The Big Bang Theory), portraying her mother in a younger version. She got the part by auditioning for an open role despite being a fan of this persona.
