Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cookbook author as well as an Emmy award-winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 and aired 27 seasons until 2020. Ina Garten started her professional career at the White House where she wrote nuclear energy policies and budget documents. Although she initially found it intellectually stimulating she eventually became bored. Then she bought a Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food shop. Prior to selling the company the store, she worked for 18 years building it into the most successful shop. Many magazines and cookbooks were later published. Her Food Network TV show also was launched which was an enormous hit. In addition, she sells everything from equipment to cooking supplies and containers. Ina is not a student at any cooking school, nor had a job in a restaurant. She has a complete self-taught. Her relaxed approach to entertaining and her straightforward cooking style is well-known. Her most well-known recipes include Skillet with Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and cheese, Beef bourguignon, Mac and cheese, Beatty's Chocolate Cake and Lemon Bars.
