Mary Marg Helgenberger is an American actor from the United States. She was born on the 16th of November, 1958. In the early 1980s, she started her career and became known as Siobhan Ryan's character on the soap opera of the day Ryan's Hope between 1982 and the year 1986. She is best known for her performance as Catherine Willows in the CBS police procedural drama. Crime Scene Investigation from 2000-13, and Immortality (2005). Vegas (present-day) was the sequel to the first. Helgenberger is also the character of K.C. Koloski as K.C. Koloski in China Beach, an ABC Drama China Beach (1988-91) which brought her an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. The actress is also famous for her performances in the TV show Under the Dome and Intelligence as well as the movies Species (1995) Species II (1998) Erin Brockovich (2000) and Mr. Brooks (2007). She is the youngest of the four siblings. McCain went to her time at the Phoenix Country Day School, an all-girls, private Catholic school. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Art History at Columbia University in 2007. In 2017, McCain joined The View as a daytime co-host. McCain's other projects include becoming an Daily Mail columnist after her time on The View.
