Luciana was born at home in Rome by her parents - Luciana's father was Manlio Paoluzzi who was an Italian Army officer, and her maternal grandmother was Maria Rota Paoluzzi who was at one time Benito Mussolini's lovers. There's no record of her having any siblings. Luciana is the only woman who has graduated from her high school in Milan. Luciana also studied nautical engineering in Milan. After two years of study, she began modeling. Soon after, she had the opportunity to be a part of Three Coins in the Fountain during a trip to Rome visiting a close daughter of her father's friend. Brett Halsey is an actress who was her husband for the first time. The couple made Return to the Peyton Palace together after their 1960 wedding. The couple was blessed with the birth of a son called Charles born on 13 June 1961, but they divorced one year following his birth, and Luciana was given custody. Luciana who was a performer and producer, was with Tony Athony between 1962 and the year 1970. Tony Athony had been impressed by the performance of Luciana on Green Slime.
